Praise for Poems for Today by TA Saunders
What a delight. Lovely short poems (meaning easier accessibility, especially for me as new to poetry) that were thoroughly enjoyable. As a luddite, Technology was my favourite and reminded me of an excellent poem by Stewart Henderson (Liverpudlian poet) called Eyes Down. Home resonated with me given the distance between my wife and I until she comes out to join me in Saudi Arabia. Strength of Character was another favourite whilst Cancer and It's a Dogs Life brought back lovely memories of lost family members. I hope it is flying off the shelves as it deserves to.
